The Ancient Order of Hibernians Father Kelley Division held its annual beer tasting on February 7 at the Old Towne Sports Pub in Manassas to benefit military charities.
Able Forces and Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) are the two charities that split the net proceeds. Last year the AOH gave each group a check for $550.
TAPS provides grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones of members of the armed services who have died either in combat or during their work-related duties.
Able Forces helps military and veteran families in financial crisis in the Washington metro area.

Among the raffle winners was Ladies AOH member Frances Sullivan, shown above, who All Saints parishioners may recognize as a cantor at Mass. Frances also sings the national anthem at the Greater Manassas St. Patrick’s Day Parade each year.

Some people who attended the beer tasting posed for the group photo above.
