Just a reminder for your 2024 Virginia state tax return. Military retiree pay of up to $30,000 is tax-exempt for this year’s 2024 tax return and will rise to $40,000 for the 2025 tax year.

Henry Knox–The leader of the Noble Train of Artillery, his knowledge of military science
and artillery guided the Continental Army to victory. After the war, Knox played a critical
role in shaping the fledgling nation’s military as America’s first Secretary of War under
the Constitution. A native Bostonian, Henry Knox was born on 25 July 1750, the
seventh of ten children born to parents of Irish ancestry.
