President’s Report
Brothers,
Happily, we have Rich back from the hospital. He is back to
his old chipper self. Glad you made it out of the hospital.
Unfortunately, Kay Sullivan passed away. I sent out the
arrangements but to repeat, Thursday 13th, 4-6 PM with Prayer
Service at 5:30 PM at Baker Post Funeral Home. The Mass will
be on Friday, March 14th at 10 AM. We will remember Kay in our
prayers for the deceased.
Thank you to Bill Yochom for his service with the AOH. He
will be moving to South Carolina.
We had a great turnout on Saturday, March 8th, for the
Manassas Parade. The weather cooperated, and it was a great
time. The week before, on Saturday, March 1, was the Alexandria
Parade, and it was a great time. I hope you consider marching in
the Veterans Day Parade in November.
We are halfway through our busy time and have a few more
events in March and April. The events are the Dinner Dane, the
Fish Fy and the Past Presidents Dinner. We need your support
for your division. More details to follow in the meeting.

- Special Report on Project Children: Dennis
Connelly Dennis and his wife hosted a young boy
from Northern Ireland in the 1980s. Dennis has been able to stay in contact over the years and has spoken with the man recently. A recording was played of theconversation. It was the first airplane ride, hisfirst trip to
the USA, seeing how we lived. He could not believe the
heat of the summer, saw a woman drive a car, steering
wheel on the opposite side of the car, a house made of plastic.
He went on vacation with the Connellys to N.C,
Philadelphia Betsy Ross House, and New York City. He was
happy to be away from the threat of violence in
