AOH Strategic Plan – fit parameters of AOH: friendship, unity, and Christian charity

In Q1 2023, I recommended we take stock of current activities.

·       Target, identify and recruit new members; engage them – Example was the note in the All Saints Bulletin and request to add our recruiting information to other parish bulletins. Under SWOT this is an opportunity.

·       Assess community-oriented events, are we truly meeting a need. 

• Organizer Tim McSweeney, in the June-July Edition of the Hibernian, suggested the importance of an organizer. We have had success with Dan O’Leary, Pete Hawkins, and Greg Rebbert orchestrating many events. And Dan may be leaving us in the future. We need to maintain this momentum as evidenced by Pete’s report. Find time to be engaged in the planning and execution of activities.
• Consideration for participating in the Thomas D. McNabb Leadership Program. We clearly have the skills to find candidates. Opportunities under SWOT.
• Irish American Heritage Month and Fall Jubilee. Opportunities under SWOT. Consider a presentation at the Halfway to St. Patrick’s event on Saturday and a history presentation at the jubilee (Copies of Mike Eggleston’s reports).
