Our division completed its latest quarterly cleanup of Stonewall Road on Aug. 24.
This Saturday morning event drew about eight members of our division.
As usual, we began with the fellowship of sharing coffee and donuts provided by past president John Masarick in the driveway in front of the George Brent Knights of Columbus building. Left to right, Tom Reynolds, John Masarick, President Greg Gibbons, Tom Masarick, Jerry Parsch, Jake Sullivan, and Dennis Connolly.
We then split into two groups to cover both sides of the road as we strolled toward Sudley Road, picking up mostly cigarette butts, candy wrappers, and other small trash items.
We then positioned ourselves underneath the road sign recognizing our organization’s contribution.
It all took under an hour.
