President’s Report:
Brothers, I am pleased to announce we have a chaplain assigned to us. Let’s welcome Deacon Gerald Moore.
Christian Charity is the third leg in our motto. The Division has done a great job throughout the year. We have two important events remaining in
October. They are the Hunger Project on October 18, and the House of Mercy fundraiser on October 25. I ask for your support with these activities, especially as these events raise money to support our charities, specifically the Bethany House of Mercy food pantry and the House of Mercy.

Unfinished Business:
1, I have updated the calendar to move the Whiskey Tasting to date TBD in November from October. When the date is finalized, I’ll send something out.
- Production of Trip to Ireland Raffle Tickets was finalized. As we did them ourselves, there was a monetary savings. Again, thank you to Mike Eggleston. We already had a Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day, Sept 14 at OTSP. JP is working to conduct another targeted approach. Then in
January, we will sell tickets after all Masses. - Tim Trant Clubroom Event on Sept. 19th was a good time and fundraiser. We netted $445 for our charities. Tim is OK. He just needed fluids; he sent his regards and was disappointed he felt ill and had to cut short his performance. He is playing in Fairfax at the Old Shebeen on October 18.
- The Fall Jubilee on October 4th was successful. We sold approximately 269 tickets. Thanks to our volunteers, especially Tom Masarick.
- The Virginian AOH State Meeting is October 18 is in Fredericksburg, VA. JP will attend.
If someone wants to join JP, he can use someone to drive with him. - Vets Parade is Saturday, Nov. 1. We will meet at 11 AM at the usual starting point. Some assemble early at the Pub at 9:30 am. We’ll need flags, our banner, and the drum.
- Check your spam folders if you are not getting information from the division.
New Business: - Hunger Project is scheduled for October 18 from 10 am to 4 pm. Bart is the lead.
Please sign up to help. We have handouts, containers, and signs. We need one more truck and some more people. - House of Mercy Fundraiser Dinner with beer and brats is on October 25. Ticket sales are key. Need to target Knights, House of Mercy, and AOH. Dinner and entertainment for $25 per person. Two bands will perform. Last year, we raised $1,300.
- I am appointing a nominating committee for the 2026 Officers. They are
JP McCucker, John Masarick, Vince Fitzpatrick. If you are interested in
becoming an officer, please let them know. At the November meeting, they will present the slate of officers for 2026 and, in December, we’ll vote. - The Charity Committee will meet to recommend how we will distribute our charitable funds. And we will cut the checks in November.
Good and Welfare of the Order:
Are there any Prayers of Intentions or announcements
Jim Adams, Don Driscoll’s friend, Hugh O’Brien, Vince Fitzpatrick’s brother, Judith Mahiney, and Chris Sozio’s snake bite issue. John Owen’s niece’s pregnancy issue, JP asked to pray for lasting Peace in the Middle East.
Prayers of St. Jude recited.
ADJOURNMENT MOTION at 7:55 pm and approved. Closing Prayers recited, including one for vocations.
The next business meeting is on November 10, 2025. Veterans Day.
