President’s Report:  Pat Sullivan mentioned that the quarterly report to state on Father Kelley Division accomplishments will be provided for their 15 October meeting. We supported 2 October Down’s Syndrome Buddy Walk. It was well attended and a great success. Pat Sullivan thanked the Brothers for their support of the Manassas Fall Jubilee on 8 October. They did a great job in raising funds for our charities. We sold a lot of raffle tickets for the trip to Ireland.

Propositions for Membership, Pete Hawkins: No new propositions for membership.

Communications & Correspondence, Mike Eggleston: No communications or correspondence have been received.

Calendar Events/Special Reports,

Mike Eggleston, Cookbook Status: The cookbook has been completed. All recipes sent by our Brothers were included in the cookbook. The publisher plans to ship our 200 copies to us on 8 November. We plan to sell the cookbooks for $15 per copy. This gives us a profit of nearly $10 per copy for our charities.

Pete Hawkins: Pete distributed the Calendar of Events and discussed upcoming events.

Bart Emanuel discussed Hunger Project: Bart asked for volunteers for the food drive in front of the Giant in Wellington, from 10-2 on Saturday, October 22nd. He needs volunteers to take a 1-2 hour shift and then optionally take a load of food to All Saints or Holy Trinity.

The Veteran’s Day Parade is on 5 November. We missed the cut-off to get into the parade but that is being worked and we see no problem in participating in the parade.

The deceased members Mass is on 6 November. We need people to bring side dishes to the breakfast after Mass.

JP McCusker suggested that our calendar for 2023 should be provided to the pastor in December for his approval. It was understood that the calendar is a plan and subject to change.

The Medical Missionaries 25th Anniversary Celebration will occur next Sunday, 16 October. A flyer for this event was distributed. Medical Missionaries is an important organization and we provide funding to them and should support their activities. 99.9% of the funds provided to them goes to their work with very little   diverted to administrative costs.  Tickets are required to attend and are available at the meeting. We will try to present our check for $500 to the Medical Missionaries at the celebration. Additional information about the Medical Missionaries and their anniversary celebration is available at https://www.medicalmissionaries.org/

Brian Tumulty will get dates for the Beer & Brats which has been deferred until next year.
